Minecraft Silence Armor Trim
Silence covers much of the armor with bold, broken shapes, including a dense helmet pattern and rib-like chest markings. It joined Minecraft in Java Edition 1.20 and Bedrock Edition 1.20.0.

Search the normal loot chests in ancient cities for Silence. Each has a 1 in 80 chance (1.25%) to contain one template in Java 1.21 and Bedrock 1.21.0; ice box chests do not contain it.

How to Duplicate the Silence Armor Trim
Keep a spare before you start smithing. Combine one Silence armor trim smithing template, one Cobbled deepslate, and seven diamonds at a crafting table to make two templates.
Place the template in the top-middle slot and the duplication material in the center. Fill the remaining seven slots with diamonds. Applying a trim at a smithing table consumes one template; the pattern changes appearance, not armor protection.
