Where to Find the Shaper Armor Trim

Use a brush on rare-loot suspicious gravel in trail ruins to find Shaper. Each rare-table block has a 1 in 12 chance (about 8.3%) to yield one template in Java 1.21 and Bedrock 1.21.0; ordinary gravel and common-loot suspicious gravel are not sources.

Guide scope: Minecraft 1.21. Chances refer to the container, archaeology roll, or mob drop described above.

How to Duplicate the Shaper Armor Trim

Keep a spare before you start smithing. Combine one Shaper armor trim smithing template, one Terracotta, and seven diamonds at a crafting table to make two templates.

Place the template in the top-middle slot and the duplication material in the center. Fill the remaining seven slots with diamonds. Applying a trim at a smithing table consumes one template; the pattern changes appearance, not armor protection.

Try the Shaper Trim on Your Skin

Take Shaper from a template in your inventory to a look you can actually see. Test the pattern on different armor bases and compare all ten trim materials.
